My friend Carrie from
Cricketwood Prims and Garden was in Portland yesterday and wanted to go to Pioneer Quilts in Happy Valley
Pioneer Quilts as I have been telling her about this quilt store for some time. We made it in there - me, with just two purchases, her - several. :o) Then we ventured to Holly Hill Quilt store in West Linn
Holly Hill Quilts. My purchases were a bit more as I finally found more fabric to use for my "Flowers" quilt that she, Lori -
Humble Quilts and I are going to do.
These are from Pioneer Quilts -
And these are from Holly Hill
And lastly, my son is starting his senior year in high school and I found this for when he leaves home and goes off to college...I will bolt it down to his computer so he will always see it. :o)
It was a fun day and then we ended our evening with dinner at Oswego Grill in Lake Oswego. Happy Day.
Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI had so much fun Michelle, you are so right, they were both wonderful shops. I love your little present for Holden......perfect!! Lets do it again.....SOON! Where shall we go?
Hi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments on my blog. I wish I would've known you were at Happy Girls I would've said hi! Next time! I'm not doing the Dirty Happy Girls - it's nearing ski season so I usually cut back racing by November. I might do the turkey trot at the zoo though! I'm glad you were spared the bee stings - felt very sorry for the ladies that got stung. I think I just missed the attacks. Must've been running just fast enough, I guess. Take care and good luck on your walking and with Dirty Happy Girls if you are doing it!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog! I have wanted to start quilting for ages. You have sparked that desire again. AND I need that sign...my son is a freshman in college! :-)
